Casa Carmen was beautifully executed following the vision of Luis Enrique Noriega and design collaboration with Legeard Studio. Every element was carefully curated to harmoniously resemble the familiar ambiance of the Mexican countryside. From the walls’ natural color and raw texture treatments to the high ceilings with rustic exposed beams, bar tiling, furniture, and Barro negro vases, the space evokes the feeling of being in a subdued, rural estate. Through the design, Legeard Studio sought to strike the right balance between high-tops, banquettes, and entry-style seating to have the flexibility for different types of settings meals - a long table for brunch and intimate tables for a more romantic dinner. The bar was designed to feel both cozy and engaged; one that creates an environment that makes guests feel as though they are sitting in a hacienda and drinking Mezcal.
